We are glad that our Partners, European Patent Attorneys – Aušra Pakėnienė and Jurga Petniūnaitė – have been chosen to represent Lithuania at the Institute of European Patent Attorneys (epi).

Aušra and Jurga were elected to this council by a secret vote of all European Patent Attorneys working in Lithuania. Aušra was elected to the epi council for the 2nd time, Jurga – for the 5th time.

They have also been participating in the activities of the committees of this professional organization for many years. Aušra is a member of the European Patent Practice Committee, Jurga is a member of the Professional Conduct Committee.

The first epi meeting took place in Sweden on May 2-3 and was special – the new President was elected, guidelines for future work and plans were discussed. We congratulate our colleagues, the new President of epi Peter Thomsen from Switzerland and wish him success in his further work in the council!

epi is a professional organization representing all patent experts with the special qualification of a European Patent Attorney. Currently, the institute has about 13,800 European Patent Attorneys from 39 countries. You can find out more about epi’s activities here.
